Evening Reflection 9/3

  1. What did God teach me today?
  2. What made today great?
  3. What can I learn from today?

  1. “For a day in your courts is better than a thousand elsewhere. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness.”

     -Psalms 84:10

Although sin may appear to be glamorous, easy, rewarding, and fun; it is a lie. Wickedness is a deception working to trick and trap us into a cycle of guilt, pain, and confusion. Living with God has given me bliss and pure happiness without any repercussions or regret. His love is real and never runs out. Being used by Him for His work and plan is the greatest honor. I am fully aware that people will laugh at me, misunderstand me, and look down on my choice to live for Him, but that is a price I am willing to pay. Everlasting life is priceless. There will be hardships and challenges, but I am not afraid. For I have the greatest counselor and Father to guide and protect me. I live without fear of the unknown, because Jesus will grant me every answer I ask for.

  2. Today, I dedicated an entire day to investing in my dreams and future. I have always been fearful of failure. I created perfectionist expectations for myself, that stopped me from ever starting. Today, I changed that. I made huge strides towards something I have thought about doing for years… stay tuned!
  3. I learned to not let fear of the future hold me back. Fear is a an irrational emotion provoked by the devil. He is trying to hold us back from pursuing growth and love. Evil’s mission is to prevent us from using our gifts to glorify the kingdom of heaven. Nothing is as scary or impossible as the devil makes it out to be. You will surprise yourself if you just try. Try with God.
